Balanced attack powers Urban ASAK past Rim Rockers, 77-51

Four players scored in double digits as Urban ASAK cruised to a 77-51 victory against the Rim Rockers, earning the team a spot in the semifinals against UC Hoops.

Sam Latham led the team in scoring with 17 points and again brought down double-digit rebounds. Aidan Evans connected on four three pointers on his way to a 14 point-outing, his best performance of the tournament. JaQuai Najomo also had a breakout game, finishing with 12 points, all in the paint, as he dominated the Rim Rockers frontcourt.

Darius McBride had 11 points and Jamal Shead chipped in eight to go along with 12 assists as he took a more distributive role in the win. He also threw down an impressive alley-oop tossed to him by Shasirae Harvey, which you can see below.

Urban ASAK’s next game is at 2:50 p.m. against UC Hoops. The winner will play in the championship at 5:10 p.m.
